1. FIBA-ASIA Qualifying Basketball Championship 2007 was held at Sri Lanka from 27 May 2007 to 31 May 2007. Hav Sambhaji Kadam of Group Basketball Team had represented India and won Silver Medal in the Championship. |

2. 33rd National Games was held at Guwahati from 08 Feb 2007 to 18 Feb 2007. 44 Bombay Sappers participated in the Games and won 07 Gold, 08 Silver and 05 Bronze Medals. The details are as under:-

NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
3. 47th Senior National Gymnastic Championship was held at National Sports Academy, Khelgaon, Allahabad fro 10 Mar 2007 To 14 Mar 2007. Spr Surjit Pal of Group Gymnastic Team represented the services team and won Bronze Medal.
4. 57th Senior Basketball Championship was held at Jaipur from 06
Dec 2006 to 04 Jan 2007. Hav Sambhaji Kadam of Group Basketball team was the key
member of the team for winning the Championship. Sub Rajinder Singh was the
coach of Services team. Services Team won the championship after a gap of
21 years.
5. 53rd Senior National Boxing Championship was held at Hyderabad from 23 Mar 2007 to 24 Mar 2007. Three Boxers have participated in the Championship and won two Gold and one Silver medal. The details are as under :-

(b) Hav Sanjay Kolte - Gold.
(c) Hav Chottelal Yadav - Silver.
5. 4th Senior National Acrobatics and Trampoline Championship was held at Thane, Mumbai from 28 May 2007 to 29 May 2007. The following players of Group Gymnastics Team had participated and won 05 Gold Medal :-

6. 13TH Sprint National Rowing Championship held at Hyderabad from 06 Jun 2007 to 10 Jun 2007. Group Rowing Team, Bombay Sappers Rowing Node Team (119 AER) Chandimandir and Boys Sports Coy had take part in the Championship and performance of above teams is as under:-

9. Inter Services Aquatics Championship was held at Arty Centre, Hyderabad from 17 Apr 2007 to 20 Apr 2007. Ten Swimmers, three Divers and three Water polo players of our Centre participated and won six Gold, 14 Silver and two Bronze medal in the Championship. Four Swimmers, one Diver and one Coach were selected to participate in 4th Military World Games and 57th Senior National Aquatics Championship. The details of performance are as under:-

10. Army Inter Command Kabaddi Trials was held at BEG & Centre Roorkee on 19 and 20 Mar 2007. The following players of Group Kabaddi Team of this Centre have been participated and selected for Inter Services Kabaddi Trials:-

11. Army Inter Command Aquatics Trial was held at MEG & Centre Bangalore on 19-20 Mar 2007. Eight Swimmers of Group Swimming Team have been selected to participate in the Inter Services Aquatics Championship to be held at Gachibowli, Hyderabad.
12. Army Inter Command Handball trials were held at MEG & Centre, Bangalore from 28 Mar 2007 to 30 Mar 2007. Spr Rafik Khan of Group Handball Team had participated in the subject trials and is selected to participate in Inter Services Handball championship.
13. Army Red Team and Army Green Team Wrestling trials held at ASI from 20 Jun 2007 to 23 Jun 2007. 06 Wrestlers from Group Wrestling team participated in and following Wrestlers are selected in Army Red and Army Green Team :-

14. Southern Command Volleyball Championship held at 2 EME, Secunderabad from 04 Jun 2007 to 08 Jun 2007. 06 Players and 01 Coach of Group Volleyball Team had represented MG & G Area in Southern Command Volleyball Championship and won Silver Medal.
15. Southern Command Football Championship held at ASC Centre, Bangalore from 05 Jun 2007 to 09 Jun 2007. 04 Players and 01 Coach of Group Football Team had represented MG & G Area in Southern Command Volleyball Championship and won Silver Medal.
MG & G AREA CHAMPIONSHIP
16. MG & G Area Football Championship held at 2 STC, Goa from 05 May 2007 to 11 May 2007 and Gp Football Team stood 2nd posn and 06 players of Gp Team have been selected for Southern Command Team Trials along with Coach of Gp Team.
17. MG & G Area Volley Ball Championship held at COD Dehu Road from 04 May 2007 to 12 May 2007 and Group Volleyball Team won the Championship. Group Team Coach and seven players selected for Southern Command Team Trials.
INTER REGT TOURNAMENT
18. Col Comdt Inter Regt Tournament was held at our centre from 01 Jan 2007 to 15 Jan 2007. 18 Units were participated in tournament and final match played between 109 Rapid(s) Engr Regt and 110 Engr Regt. 109 Rapid Engr Regt won the tournament. The posn of first eight are as under:-

20. School National Gymnastic /Acrobatics Championship was held at Kolkata from 10 Feb 2007 to 14 Feb 2007. Four Boys from Boys Sports Company have been participated and won 04 Silver Meals in the Championship.
21. Maharashtra State Jr Boxing Championship held at Aurangabad from 04 Feb 2007 to 07 Feb 2007. 06 Boys of Boys Sports Coy participated and won 3 Gold, 01 Silver and 02 Bronze
22. Run for 4th Military World Games was conducted at Pune on 01 Apr 2007 i.e 200 days prior to the 4th Military World Games. 800 Bombay Sappers participated in the run and the following players have obtained position in the first ten :-

23. State Level invitation Basketball tournament was held at Deccan Gymkhana from 28 Feb to 03 Mar 2007. Group Basketball team had been participated and obtained second position.
24. Maharastra State Rowing Regatta was held at College of Engineering, Pune from 25 Jan 2007 to 28 Jan 2007. 08 Rowers of the Bombay Sappers participated in the Championship and won 04 Gold Medals. The details of the players and their posn are shown against each:-

25. ‘Prince Cup” samy Khatau Memorial Boxing State level invitation Boxing Championship was held at Central Railway Institute, Parel, Mumbai from 09 Jan 2007 to 11 Jan 2007. The boxers of Group Boxing Team participated and won 01 Gold, 02 Silver and 03 Bronze Medal.
26. Spr B Senthil Kumar obtained 1st Posn in 69 Kg and also awarded BEST Weight Lifter Pondichery State in State Weight Lifting Championship held at Uppalagam (Pondichery) from 26 Mar 2007 to 27 Mar 2007.
SAHYADRI CYCLING EXPEDITION
27 The Bombay Sappers Cycling expedition will be conducted from 30 Apr 2007 to 04 May 2007 in the Konkan region. 09 Offrs, 01 JCO and 13 ORs have been participated in the Cycling Expedition. They are visited following forts:-
