Nice site. I wanted to see photograph of my late father Sub. Shrirang Sawant in your gallantry awardees page. He was given "Shaurya Chakra" posthumously in 1988. But no such an entry. Would appreciate if you could include all those who have laid down life for the noble purpose of service to the nation.

Seen the list of sportsmen and their achievements. It is heartening to see so many rowers from other ranks; but extremely sad also that there is no officer in the list. Brig VK Bhatt as commandant may be feeling the same. I am sure something is in the pipeline; as he knows what it was in late 70's and early 80's with so many officers in the rowing team with him at the helm at the Asiads.

As a former sergeant in the Royal Engineers Survey who was stationed in India during the years 1945 to 1947 I found your site very interesting.When I was stationed in Kalyan I used to visit Bombay.
