The veterans, serving personnel and families of 104 Engineer Regiment is organizing a Grand Get-together on 16 & 17 Dec 2011 at TB 1 and Sylhet House on the occassion of the 40 th anniversary of the 1971 Indo-Pak war. I would appreciate if it be mentioned in the current news as a forth coming event of Bombay Sappers and Veterans.

Further to my last entry I myself served in the British Sappers for 12 years and am very proud to have done so as both my father and grandfather where sappers and as you know my father some of his time in the Bombay Sappers.
I would like to congratulate you on a wonderful website I have enjoyed looking at it very much and will continue to.
Well done, once a sapper always a sapper.

My Father served in the Bombay Sappers first as a L/Cpl in 1926 then Cpl in 1929 and S/Sgt on 1/01/1931 he left the Bombay Sappers in 1933 on posting to Rangoon Burma
until 1938 then returned to UK and went to France as a RSM with the BEF he managed to get back to the UK and was sent to Burma with the 14th Army.
He always talked of his time in the Bombay Sappers with pride he even met my
Mother in Bombay and married their.

I like bomabay sappers , my father(sub Bhagwan Dutt JC 347550 ) was in bomaby sappers in 117 armd enngr regit now he was retierd in march 2003, my dreem is to work with bombay sappers but my dreem is not able to possible , but i love bomay sappers sir now I am working with UltraTech Cement ltd as a Officer Logistics at Kotputli(jaipur) rajasthan .
